Krunch UK is governed by a committed group of knowledgeable trustees with experience in a wide range of sectors of society and employment. The trustees meet on a regular basis and offer valuable support and accountability to the organisation in all areas, such as working policy, finance, staff and strategic planning .
Phil Ball - Chair of Trustees
Phil Ball is currently the Ethos Director for Chapel St Community Schools Trust. Chapel St exists to build learning communities who deliver excellence in education and create schools. They are a government approved academy sponsor, developing a family of schools in the North West of England, Oxfordshire and the South West of London.
Phil formerly worked for The Salvation Army’s national youth department where he oversaw a range of professional, vocational and leadership development programmes around the UK.
Phil is developing strategies for staff training, leadership and organisational ethos development, ensuring the virtues of grace, love and fellowship as the distinguishing marks of Chapel St Schools are deeply embedded.
Phil’s skills include Project Management, CPD Training, Strategic Development Planning, Supervision and Coaching.
Laura Nott is the Managing Director of a training and consultancy company called LMN Training Ltd. She worked for 7 years as a Probation Officer in Sandwell, and then 7 years in project management for a local charity before starting her own business to train other professionals.
Laura has also worked with her local church (Kings Community Church, Oldbury) to fundraise, design, build and set up a new community café.
She has seen Krunch grow from the early days and is committed to using her skills in therapeutic work, community development, training and consultation to benefit the Krunch staff team and the young people they support.
As a qualified Chartered Certified accountant with 20 years of accountancy experience, John contributes to the financial knowledge and understanding of Krunch at the strategic level.
Working full time for a midlands based firm of accountants, John has provided accountancy support for Krunch since 2003, and became a trustee in 2007.
John and his wife Netta have 2 children, Judah and Esmai, and are part of the Birmingham Vineyard church.
Ann worked for many years in the private sector in various ICT related roles including Computer Programming, IT Support and Training and then moved into an Account Management role selling ICT solutions. She then went on to work as a Bid Manager for large multi-national corporation bidding for outsourced business solutions into the UK public sector, predominantly into Local Authorities.
Eventually, Ann became self-employed offering Bid Management Consultancy services into companies who were looking to improve their win-rate when bidding for large, complex, strategic contracts. Latterly, Ann semi-retired and now works part-time at her local hospital. She is also a Church Deacon at her home Church in Oldbury in the West Midlands.
