Come and join us for a family friendly afternoon at Thornbury Skate Fest
Thornbury Skate Fest takes place on 8th August at Thornbury Skate Park (next to Thornbury Leisure Centre, BS35 3JB), bringing together riders from across the community for a day of skating, progression and high-energy competition.
The event will feature categories for skateboard, BMX, scooter and roller skates, which will be split into appropriate age categories when all entries have been received.
Whether you’re competing or just coming along to watch, it’s a great opportunity to be part of a positive, supportive skate scene.
There will also be pro rider demonstrations, workshops and open practice sessions, giving riders the chance to learn new skills, build confidence and even ride alongside experienced pros.
Exciting prizes will be up for grabs across the categories too.
This is an event for all the family with plenty of other fun activities on offer such as coconut shy, rodeo bull, inflatable star slide, circus skills, glitter tattoos and carnival face paint, climbing wall, as well as a BBQ.
