If you love working with young people and want to make a real impact, this role is for you. Working at our evening youth clubs based in Berkeley and/or Thornbury, you will help create a safe, engaging spaces where young people feel supported and empowered. If you’ve got energy, positivity, initiative and great communication skills, this is your chance to make a lasting impact!
As a detached youth worker, you’ll be at the heart of our local community, building trusted relationships with young people in their own spaces and supporting them to navigate challenges, discover their strengths and build positive futures. If you are passionate about connection, committed to inclusion and motivated to make a real impact beyond traditional youth work settings, we’d love to hear from you.
You must be 21 years old or over, hold a full UK driving licence, and be willing to drive our small youth bus as part of the role.
As a mentor, you’ll work one-to-one with young people, building trusted relationships and offering consistent support to help them move forward with confidence. You’ll help young people overcome challenges, build confidence and improve wellbeing, supporting them through difficulties they may be facing in their lives. If you are patient, reliable and believe that every young person deserves to thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our youth clubs and help create a safe, fun and welcoming environment where young people can relax, build confidence and discover new passions. You’ll play an active role in sessions - whether that’s helping to run activities, offering a listening ear or simply being a positive role model.
If you are friendly, reliable and passionate about making a difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you. No previous experience is necessary - just a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved.
This role is for volunteers aged 18 years and above. If you are 14 to 17 years old, please take a look at our Junior Volunteer Programme.
