Mentoring

Our mentoring focuses on individual need, supporting young people to discover strategies for positive outcomes in their personal and educational lives.

Our one-to-one mentoring programme offers:

  • Personalised one-to-one support with skilled mentors who build trust and provide a safe, confidential space.
  • Support for young people to explore solutions to overcome barriers in learning and personal growth while keeping their voice at the centre.
  • A blend of activities, games and discussions to keep sessions engaging, practical and meaningful.
  • Signposting beyond mentoring, connecting young people to positive activities, resources and support outside of school.
  • Impact measurement tools such as the Warwick Edinburgh Wellbeing Scale and our Outcomes Star.
  • Clear communication and collaboration, including regular updates for referring agencies and attendance at multi-agency meetings when needed.

Testimonials

T has really enjoyed attending youth club. He looked forward to it every week and couldn’t wait to tell me what he did. His confidence has improved immensely. Thank you.

Youth Clubs

I enjoy going to youth club as the youth workers are always up for a chat and I know they’re people I can trust.

Youth Clubs

My favourite thing to do at youth club is have time to hang out with my friends, play football and have loads of fun.

Thank you so much for putting on these activities through the school holidays. My kids love attending and always say how much they have done in just a few hours. It’s great for them to be outside playing with other children and building on their social skills instead of being in front of a screen. The food also looked delicious, and although my kids never usually eat that much salad, they dove straight into the salad bar you provided. Thank you for such a great provision that I can afford!

Thank you ever so much for the course. I really have learnt a lot, and because I’ve done the course I put it on Facebook and I’ve had three new families ask me to babysit which is now a regular thing! Thank you again for the experience!

Just a quick email to say thank you so much for running this great course. Lauren really enjoyed the day and found it very interesting. Lauren has been working as a babysitter for a while, but I think this course is helping her have confidence in herself and what she has been doing.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for putting on such a brilliant two day babysitting course! Sarah learnt so much and it has hopefully given her a lot of confidence to look after other people’s children. She also said that the staff were all so lovely and very helpful.
