Governance & Policies
We are committed to strong governance, with a Board of Trustees providing oversight and our Centre Directors ensuring effective day-to-day leadership across our services.
Krunch UK is governed by a Board of Trustees, which provides strategic oversight and ensures the organisation remains true to its mission and values.
Day-to-day operational leadership and the ongoing development of our two centres is managed by our Centre Directors. Mark Cavell leads Krunch West Midlands, while Penny Baker oversees Krunch South West.
Together, they are responsible for delivering services, supporting staff teams and driving the continued growth and impact of each centre within their regions.
Phil Ball – Chair
John Spafford – responsible for finance

Help us Krunch all the good numbers
We’re proud to have supported over 900 children and young people this year.
We have offered 4550 sessions, ranging from one-to-one mentoring to youth clubs and school holiday activities.
Our staff team now numbers 27 – a fantastic group of passionate individuals united by a shared commitment to the wellbeing of young people.
At Krunch UK, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive and well-managed environment for all children and young people who take part in our activities, as well as our staff and volunteers. Our work is underpinned by a comprehensive framework of policies and procedures, which guide everything we do and are available upon request.
We hold full public liability insurance and operate in line with all relevant statutory requirements. Our policies include, but are not limited to, Safeguarding and Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour and Wellbeing. These are regularly reviewed to ensure they remain up to date and reflect current best practice.
Safeguarding is at the heart of our organisation. We take our responsibility to protect children and young people extremely seriously, and all staff are expected to uphold the highest standards of care and professionalism. Most of our team members are trained in First Aid, ensuring that appropriate support can be provided quickly and effectively when needed.
